DeAndre Kane to Nizhny Novgorod
DeAndre Kane (193 cm, Iowa State’14) is taking his game to Russian club BC Nizhny Novgorod (Russia-VTB) for the upcoming 2016-17 season. Kane had a busy 2015-16 season, lending his talents to two teams. He began the season on the roster of Ratiopharm Ulm (Germany-BBL). DeAndre played eight games for them during their run in the Eurocup and averaged 10.4 ppg and 5.0 rpg. In 11 games in the domestic German league Kane was able to put together averages of 8.3 ppg and 5.0 rpg. He parted ways with Ratiopharm Ulm in December 2015 and moved to Hapoel Eilat (Israel-Winner League), where he wound up playing 23 games and posting averages of 12.6 ppg and 5.8 rpg.
