David Noel (201 cm, North Carolina’06) has agreed to terms with French club Cholet Basket (France-Pro A) and will be a newcomer to their roster for the 2016-17 season. David has spent a good deal of his pro career playing with French Pro A teams, but in 2015-16 he was the journeyman, seeing action for a couple of Latin American clubs, before making his way back to France. He began 2015-16 with Guaros de Lara (Venezuela-LPB) and played six games for them in the Liga Sudamericana and averaged 7.0 ppg and 2.2 rpg. In January 2016 he signed with Libertad Sunchales (Argentina-Liga A). David played 16 games for Libertad and averaged 4.6 ppg and 4.2 rpg. In March Noel was added by Entente Orleans 45 and he logged 10 games for them with averages of 6.8 ppg and 3.5 rpg.
