David Lighty stays with Nanterre

French ProA team JSF Nanterre has opted to re-sign David Lighty (195 cm, Ohio State’11) for the 2013-14 season. The 25-year-old Lighty spent his sophomore season as a pro with Nanterre and helped them win the title in 2013 and also reach the finals of the French Cup that same year. He logged a total of 35 games for the club and put up averages of 12.5 ppg and 3.7 rpg.

David played his rookie season (2011-12) in Italy, playing in the Italian SerieA but splitting his season between two teams. He began the season on the roster of Cantu and averaged 7.5 ppg and 2.5 rpg in eight games. Lighty then moved to Vanoli Cremona where he 10.7 ppg and 5.0 rpg in 35 games.
