David Lighty moved to Banco di Sardegna

David Lighty (195 cm, Ohio State’11) is taking his game to Banco di Sardegna Sassari (Italy-Serie A) this 2017. This isn’t a long-distance move, with Lighty coming from another team from the same league. He began the 2016-17 season on the roster of Dolomiti Energia Trento (Italy-Serie A). David played 15 games for them before his departure and was able to post averages of 13.1 ppg and 2.4 rpg.

Before inking with Trento at the start of the season, Lighty was coming off a two-season stint playing in France for ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (France-Pro A). In 2015-16 he played 14 games for them in the FIBA Europe Cup and averaged 9.6 ppg and 2.8 apg. The player also logged a total of 45 games in the domestic French league and was able to notch averages of 8.7 ppg and 2.3 apg.
