DaShaun Wood pens with Cholet

DaShaun Wood (185 cm, Wright State’07) has agreed to terms with Cholet Basket (France-Pro A) and will be joining them for the remainder of the season. The 31-year-old veteran spent the 2014/15 season playing for Tofas Bursa (Turkey-TBL). He played five games for them in the EuroChallenge and averaged 18.4 ppg and 3.6 apg. Wood played 28 games in the domestic Turkish league and there he was able to record averages of 14.4 ppg and 4.1 apg.

DaShaun has some familiarity playing in the French Pro A. In 2013/14 he was on the roster of Le Mans Sarthe Basket (France-Pro A). In 26 games in the French league he averaged 14.2 ppg and 4.2 apg. DaShaun also played in Eurocup games and was able to deliver averages of 16.4 ppg and 2.4 apg.
