Daryl McCoy to Beira in Mozambique

Daryl McCoyRookie American Daryl McCoy (206 cm, Drexel’13) will begin his pro career playing for Ferroviario de Beira (Mozambique, D1) until the end of the Mozambique season in December. The power forward has recently graduated from Drexel, where over four years he built a reputation for consistency and his rebounding prowess. In fact over his four seasons in the NCAA for Drexel Daryl McCoy missed just two games and become known as a fantastic rebounder, often out averaging his scoring from the board.

During the 2012/2012 season with Drexel he played 29 games and averaged 4.4 points and 8.6 rebounds per game. His rebounds have stood out over the course of his four seasons in college and during that time he picked up numbers of 4.1ppg (2009/2010), 7.8rpg (2010/2011), 6.7rpg (2011/2012), and 8.6rpg (2012/2013).
