Darryl Monroe signs with La Bruixa d’Or

Darryl Monroe (202 cm, George Mason’09) is set to reinforce the frontcourt of La Bruixa d’Or Manresa from Spain’s Liga Endesa, this 2013-14 season. This will be Monroe’s first foray into the Spanish basketball league. He’s previously played in France and Holland in the past.

In 2012-13 Darryl played for Boulazac Basket Dordogne from France’s ProA. He played 20 games for Boulazac and averaged 14.7 ppg and 8.8 rpg. His solid play for the season got him an invite to play in the French ProA All-Star game in 2013. In 2011-12, his first season with Boulazac, Monroe averaged 15.7 ppg and 9.7 rpg.
