Darrius Garrett added by Nea Kifisia

Darrius Garrett (205 cm, Richmond’12) will be playing in Greece’s A1 this upcoming 2013-14 season for AE Nea Kifisia Athens. He played his rookie season in Switzerland for Benetton Fribourg Olympic. Garrett played 32 games and averaged 7.8 ppg and 8.1 rpg. He should be an asset for Nea Kifisia’s frontcourt if he can replicate the 2.5 bpg he averaged in the Swiss LNA. He helped his club reach the Swiss LNA and Swiss Cup semifinals in 2013.

In his senior year at Richmond Darrius averaged 4.5 ppg, 6.5 rpg and 3.3 bpg in 32 games. He was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Defensive Team in 2012.
