Darrin Govens (185 cm, St. Joseph’s’10) is a new face of the roster of BC Nizhny Novgorod (Russia-VTB) for the 2018-19 season. Govens is a 30-year-old American international basketball player who also holds a Hungarian passport and is a recent addition to the Hungarian National Team in 2018.

Govens began the 2018-19 season on the roster of Tsmoki-Minsk (Belarus-Premier League). He played two games for them in the FIBA Europe Cup and averaged 16.0 ppg and 6.0 apg. In four VTB United League games, the veteran recorded averages of 14.0 ppg and 4.3 apg.
