Darren Phillip inks with Ponce

Leones de Ponce (Puerto Rico-BSN) are bringing in veteran British-American player Darren Phillip (201 cm, Fairfield’00) as a new addition this 2015. This 2014/15 season Darren suited up for Centro Juventud Sionista de Parana (Argentina-Liga A). He played in a total of 57 games for the Argentinian club and produced averages of 16.0 ppg and 9.5 rpg.

Phillip has had some previous experience playing in the Puerto Rican BSN. In 2014 he played for the Indios de Mayaguez. In 23 games the 37-year-old posted averages of 13.0 ppg and 6.2 rpg.
