Darrell Wonge pens with Al Wehda

Al Wehda Mecca from Saudi Arabia’s Premier League as acquired the services of Darrell Wonge (199 cm, Winston Salem’08) for the 2013-14 season. Al Wehda is currently trying to climb out of a 0-3 hole in the standings and is hoping Wonge’s addition to the squad will turn things around.

Wonge began the 2013-14 season playing in the Liga Sudamericana for Ecuadorian team CommuniKT. He played three games in the league before departing and posted averages of 18.0 ppg and 7.7 rpg.

In 2012-13 he played for the Moncton Miracles from Canada’s NBL. Darrell averaged 16.5 ppg and 5.0 rpg in 46 games in the Canadian league.
