Darrel Mitchell (181 cm, Louisiana State University´06) has signed for AS Monaco Basket (ProB) in a move that will see him remain in France. The point guard is switching to Monaco from Pau-Lacq-Orthez (ProA) after starting the season with that team. The American featured in seven games so far this campaign and averaged 9.3 points and 3.9 assists per game.
During the 2013/14 season Darrel Mitchell travelled around Europe. He started the term with Halychyna in Ukraine where he featured in six games and averaged 8.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game. Later he moved to BC Donetsk (Ukraine-Superleague) and notched 10.6ppg and 4.6apg in five games.
In March 2014 Darrel signed with Pieno Zvaigzdes Pasvalys (Lithuania-LKL) where he posted averages of 8.3 points and 3.3 assists in eight games. Darrel Mitchell has also played in Belgium, Cyprus, Lithuania, France, and Turkey.
