Daniel Ewing to miss 6 weeks with Besiktas

Besiktas Istanbul (Turkey, TBL and Euroleague) has announced that American guard Daniel Ewing (191 cm, Duke’05) will sit out the next 4-6 weeks of the season due to injury. 29-year old Ewing limped off the court in the recent loss to Fenerbache and did not return to the court. It has now been revealed that the player will miss around a month.

Daniel Ewing has played nine Euroleague games with Besiktas after joining the team last summer. During those games he has averaged 9.1ppg and 1.8rpg. The player has also played in 11 Turkish league games and averaged 7.9ppg and 1.1rpg.
