DaJuan Summers joins Kyiv

DaJuan SummersDaJuan Summers (203 cm, Gerogetown’09) is heading to the Ukraine after penning a deal with Budivelnyk Kyiv (Superleague) for this season. The forward had agreed to join Khimky in the Russian PBL but has instead opted for the better offer from Kyiv. Last season the American had a busy season in the United States. He started the campaign with the Charlotte Bobcats in the NBA after playing 15 games and averaging 4.5ppg and 1.5rpg the season before. He then left the franchise for the Maine Red Claws (D-League) where he featured in 29 games and averaged impressively with 18.0 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game. The 25-year old finished the campaign on the roster at the Los Angeles Clippers.

DaJuan Summers has picked up previous NBA action between 2009 and 2011 when he represented the Detroit Pistons over 66 games.
