Daequan Cook

Former NBA guard Daequan Cook (196 cm, Ohio State’07) will be begin his international career with Budivelnyk Kyiv from Ukraine’s Superleague this 2013-14. Cook was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers 21st overall in 2007 NBA Draft. He’s played in his first game for Budivelnyk and is clearly still adjusting. He tallied just three points, grabbed three rebounds and handed out five assists.

Daequan started off the 2012-13 season under contract with the Houston Rockets. He played 16 games for them and averaged just 3.4 ppg and 1.1 rpg. He was released by the team in January 2013 and later picked up by the then shorthanded Chicago Bulls. He averaged 2.5 ppg and 1.4 rpg in 34 games off Chicago’s bench.
