D.J. Richardson (190 cm, Illinois’13) will be suiting up for Proximus Spirou Charleroi (Belgium-Scooore League) this upcoming 2016-17 season. The 25-year-old Richardson is coming over to the Belgian organization after spending the last two seasons playing in the Finnish Korisliiga. In 2015-16 D.J. played for Kouvot Kouvola (Finland-Korisliiga). He logged 46 games for them and averaged 16.6 ppg and 3.4 rpg. It was a productive stint for Richardson as he was able to help his team capture the 2016 Finnish League Championship. He signed with them towards the end of 2014-15. He played eight games and averaged 14.4 ppg and 2.4 rpg. Richardson moved there in March 2015 after beginning the season with Lapuan Korikobrat (Finland-Korisliiga).
