Curtis Jerrells lands with Galatasaray

Curtis Jerrells (185 cm, Baylor’09) has agreed to terms on a deal with Turkish club Galatasaray Liv Hospital Istanbul (Turkey-BSL) this 2016. The 28-year-old guard is coming over from Unics Kazan (Russia-VTB), where he spent the 2014-15 season. Jerrells had his hands full as a member of their backcourt rotation. He played in three leagues last year for Unics. Curtis logged 13 games for them in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague and averaged 12.2 ppg and 3.2 apg. He also appeared in a dozen games in the Eurocup and there he produced averages of 10.0 ppg and 2.3 apg. Jerrells played in 29 games in the VTB United League and was able to put together averages of 9.8 ppg and 4.0 apg.
