Courtney Fortson (180 cm, Arkansas’10) has been given a contract extension by the Zhejiang Guansha Lions (China-CBA) and will remain with the team for the 2017-18 season. The University of Arkansas product was able to deliver a solid season for the team in 2016-17, posting impressive averages of 29.0 ppg and 8.5 apg in 42 games. The 29-year-old Fortson was also a boon on the defensive end of the floor for the Lions, recording 2.6 steals per game. This will mark his second straight season playing in Asia.
