Coby Karl signed by Reggio Emila

Coby Karl (196 cm, Boise State’07) is returning to Italy this 2013-14 season to play for Grissin Bon Reggio Emila (SerieA). The son of famous NBA coach George Karl is back after a one-season stint in the NBA D-League playing for the Idaho Stampede in 2012-13. He moved there after spending the pre-season with Sidigas Avellino (Italy-SerieA).

In 50 games for the Stampede, Karl averaged 13.3 ppg and 6.3 apg. The 30-year-old played the 2011-12 season for Fabi Shoes Montegranaro from Italy’s SerieA. He averaged 9.6 ppg and 3.5 rpg in 32 games as a starter.
