After a brief run with the New York Knicks organization, Cleanthony Early (203 cm, Wichita State’14) is taking his game to Europe this 2017. The 24-year-old forward has signed a deal to play for AEK Athens (Greece-A1). Early was drafted by the New York Knicks, 34th overall in 2014 NBA Draft. Cleanthony was sent to the Knicks’ D-League affiliate, the Westchester Knicks in 2016-17 but he wound up on the roster of the Santa Cruz Warriors for the remainder of the season after player movement. He played 16 games for the Santa Cruz Warriors and posted averages of 9.2 ppg and 3.9 rpg.
