Christian Eyenga to play for Stelmet ZG

Former NBA reserve Christian Eyenga (199 cm) will be playing for Stelmet Zielona Gora from Poland’s TBL this coming 2013-14. Eyenga, who is from the Democratic Republic of Congo, was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round (30th) of the 2009 NBA Draft.

In 2012 he drafted by the Frisco Texas Legends from the NBA’s D-League. He played 30 games for them in the 2012-13 season and averaged 14.6 ppg and 5.6 rpg. In January 2013 he moved to China to play for Shanxi Zhongyu (CBA). He only managed to stay one month and was able to play nine games for them during that time. He averaged 18.8 ppg and 5.3 rpg. He returned to the Texas Legends in February 2013.
