Openjobmetis Varese (Italy-Serie A) has agreed to terms on a deal with Chris Wright (185 cm, Georgetown’11) and will add him to their roster this 2016. The 26-year-old former Georgetown Hoya is coming over to the Italian club after starting the 2015-16 season playing for Hapoel Holon (Israel-Winner League). He played four games for them before his departure and was able to record averages of 6.5 ppg and 2.3 rpg.

In 2014-15 he initially was with the Bakersfield Jam from the NBA D-League where he played 14 games and averaged 12.9 ppg and 5.9 apg. In January 2015 Wright moved Consultinvest VL Pesaro (Italy-Serie A) and there was able to play 15 games and post averages of 16.1 ppg and 3.4 apg.
