Chris Matthews (193 cm, St.Bonaventure’10) has signed with Spartak Primorye and will continue his career in the Russian Superleague. Matthews had a solid 2013/2014 season in the Canadian NBL, where he averaged 15 ppg for the Halifax Rainmen. After France, Mexico and Iceland it will be the 4th time Chris Matthews heads overseas. The head coach of Spartak Primorye is American Russel Bergman and he will look to build his team around the athletic and versatile Matthews.
