Charles Thomas joins Maccabi Ashdod

Maccabi Ashdod (Israel-Winner League) is reinforcing its roster with the addition of veteran import Charles Thomas (203 cm, Arkansas’08) this 2015. This will be his third team this 2014/15 season. Thomas was began the season with Lukoil Academic Sofia (Bulgaria-NBL). He played six games for them in the EuroChallenge and averaged 18.8 ppg and 7.0 rpg. In the domestic Bulgarian NBL Charles played 10 games and produced averages of 15.3 ppg and 5.1 rpg.

In January 2015 Thomas moved to Sagesse Al-Hekmeh Beirut (Lebanon-Division A). He played seven games for them before moving to Maccabi Ashdod and was able to post averages of 17.9 ppg and 8.1 rpg.
