Chamberlain Oguchi moves to Spain

Chamberlain Oguchi (198 cm, Illinois State’09) has signed a deal to play with Gran Canaria of the Spanish ACB. The Nigerian started this season with the Maine Red Claws in the D-Leauge (USA) and over 24 games with the team he posted averages of 9.0ppg, 2.3rpg, and 1.4apg. The shooting guard also played this season with Spartak Primoire Vladivostok (Russia, PBL) where he played 9 games since January and averaged 15.0 points per game and 3.6 rebounds per game.

27-year old Chamberlain Oguchi has previously played in Venezuela, the Philippines, France, Lebanon, and Iraq. The move to Gran Canaria will mark the player’s first time in the Spanish ACB.
