Centauros shine at home

The Centauros de Apure are the victors of the first match of a series at home after beating the Lanceros de Cojedes 88-84. The victors controlled every quarter but the last one but the Lanceros’ admirable effort was still not quite enough.

Tulio Cobos made an impressive effort for the Centauros, scoring 18 points and making 6 rebounds. Clarence Matthews came in second with 14 points and 5 rebounds. For the Lanceros, Morris Sierralta totaled 22 points and Tadeo Rodríguez 15.
