Cedric Simmons pens with Trabzonspor

Cedric Simmons (206 cm, North Carolina State’06) has penned a deal with Turkish TBL club Trabzonspor, a contract that will last one year. The power forward is coming off a season with Greek giant Olympiacos where he picked up plenty of time on the floor from the bench. In the Greek A1 the American secured averages of 4.5 points and 3.8 rebounds per game from thirty appearances. Simmons also played 22 times in the Euroleague where he averaged 3.8 points and 3.0 rebounds per game.

During the 2012/2013 campaign Cedric Simmons played for Enel Brindisi in the Italian Serie A. During the season he offers 9.4 points and 6.6 rebounds per game and played thirty times for the club. The 28-year old has NBA experience after wearing the jersey at the Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Sacramento Kings.
