Maccabi Fox Tel-Aviv (Israel-Winner League) has added veteran Cedric Simmons (206 cm, North Carolina State’06) to their roster this 2016. This will be a two-week deal, where the team can assess if Cedric is the right fit. Simmons is a 32-year-old player who has dual citizenship from the United States and Bulgaria (2011). The big man spent the 2015-16 pre-season with Royal Hali Gaziantep (Turkey-BSL). In 2014-15 Cedric played for Greek powerhouse Olympiacos S.F.P. Pireus. Simmons played only two games for them in the EuroChallenge and averaged 11.0 ppg. After his departure in November, Simmons landed with Enel Basket Brindisi (Italy-Serie A). He played four games for Enel Brindisi and averaged 8.8 ppg and 6.0 rpg. He parted ways with the team in March 2015.
