Cedric Kuakumensah (206 cm, Brown’16) will begin his professional career this 2016-17 with a stint in Austria, playing for the Redwell Gunners Oberwart (Austria-A Bundesliga). In his senior year at Brown University, the young forward recorded averages of 14.0 ppg and 9.6 rpg, through 28 games. It was a fruitful campaign for Cedric as he was named to the All-Ivy league 2nd Team for the second straight year in 2016. The Redwell Gunners are also coming off a successful 2015-16 campaign, as they captured the 2016 Austrian league championship in 2016. It will be interesting to see how Cedric can make an impact with his new team.
