Cedric Jackson (191 cm, Cleveland State’09) has penned a deal with Union Olimpija Ljubljana (Slovenia, Telemach League) for this season. The guard has had a busy summer after leaving the New Zealand Breakers (Australia, NBL) where he played last year. Post season the American has been back in the U.S. playing in the NBA Pro Summer League’s in Orlando and Las Vegas. In Vegas he represented the Portland Trailblazers (NBA) and secured averages of 4.2 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per game from 6 appearances.
Last season with the Breakers Cedric Jackson played in 32 NBL games and picked up impressive averages of 14.6ppg and 5.9rpg while he also showing his skills by being the best assister (6.9apg) and stealer (2.8spg) in the league. The 27-year old has previous NBA experience having played for the San Antonio Spurs and the Cleveland Cavaliers during the 09/10 campaign.
