Eric Hicks (198 cm, Cincinnati’06) has signed in France with Pro B team JSA Bordeaux Basket. He recently played in Mexico and last year he was active in Israel. In the past he played in China, Ukraine, Belgium. Russia, Poland and Spain.

Romain Duport (215 cm) has agreed to a contract termination with Cholet Basket (France-ProA) due to a knee injury sustained this summer. The injury has kept Duport off the court this season and the team had already hired a replacement player in Karim Souchu (1.98, college: Furman University).

Bryan Smith (196 cm, Auburn’99) has signed with French Pro A team Le Havre. Bryan Smith is a veteran who has played in many countries, Cyprus, Venezuela, Italy and Bulgaria to name a few. Last season he already played in France for Pro A champion Chalon.

Trenton Meacham (188 cm, Illinois’09) has signed a deal with JSF Nanterre (France-ProA) for the 2012-13 campaign. Meacham is a 2009 graduate of the University of Illinois (US-NCAA D1) where he averaged 10.2 points per game over 34 games in the tough Big Ten Conference. Paul Miller (208 cm, Wichita State’06) has signed on for the 2012-13 season with JDA Dijon Bourgogne (France-ProA). Miller most recently played for Bandirma Kirmizi (Turkey-TBL) where he averaged 12.4 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game over 24 games.

Edwin Ubiles (1.98m, college: Siena) and the management of Cholet Basket (France-ProA) have mutually decided that Ubiles will officially leave the team due to the injury an injury he sustained on his foot recently.
