Casper Ware (178 cm, Long Beach State’12) is taking his game Down Under, after penning a deal to play for Melbourne United (Australia-NBL) this 2016-17. The 26-year-old journeyman is coming off a successful 2015-16 run. He began last season playing in China for TianJin Steel (China-CBA). In a dozen games in the CBA, Ware registered averages of 20.9 ppg and 4.0 apg. In March 2016 he was picked up by ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (France-Pro A) in time for them to ramp up for the French league post-season. Casper ended up playing 19 games for ASVEL and produced averages of 12.1 ppg and 3.5 apg. He helped ASVEL capture the French Pro A championship in 2016.
