Casper Ware signed by ASVEL

Casper Ware (178 cm, Long Beach State’12) is headed back to Europe after signing a deal to play for ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (France-Pro A) this 2016. The 26-year-old Ware is coming off a 12-game stint in China where he suited up for the TianJin Steel (China-CBA). During his brief run with TianJin Steel, Casper delivered solid averages of 20.9 ppg, 4.6 rpg and 4.0 apg.

Casper’s run in the NBA ended in 2014-15 after hopping from the Philadelphia 76ers and then the Brooklyn Nets. In November 2014 he made his way to Germany after signing with EWE Baskets Oldenburg (Germany-BBL). He played 27 games in the German league and averaged 13.2 ppg and 2.5 apg.
