Cameron Rundles delivers shooting clinic with 40-point gem
Cameron Rundles had an incredible game on offense on Saturday.
The BK Ventspils’ player sank 15 of 18 shots from the floor, knocking down 7 of 8 3-pointers, en route to 40 points in a Latvian-Estonian Basketball League match.
Rundles also sank 3 of 3 from the free-throw line in a 113-90 victory over Valmiera. With the victory, BK Ventspils improved to 4-1 this season.
In 27-plus minutes on the court, Cameron Rundles also contributed three rebounds, three assists and three steals for coach Gints Fogels’ team, which won the inaugural Latvian-Estonian Basketball League crown in 2019.
In his previous game on October 17 against VEF Riga, Rundles finished with 18 points.
The 32-year-old American point guard attended De La Salle High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota before playing college ball at the University of Montana and Wofford College.
