Byron Johnson leaves Sionista Parana

Byron JohnsonByron Johnson (201 cm, Belmont Abbey ’02) has been cut by Argentine club Centro Juventud Sionista de Parana (Liga A) and is now a free agent. The American has hit the court in sixteen games for Sionista this season and picked up averages of 7.9 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. Johnson is extremely experienced in Argentine Basketball, he has played in the country for the last eight seasons.

The power forward played for Gimnasio Rividavia (Argentina, TNA) through the 2013/2014 season and from 51 games he logged 12.6 points and 6.3 rebounds per game.

Byron Johnson has previous experience playing in Austria and Mexico since leaving Belmont Abbey in 2002.
