Bryan Bailey to stay with Bayreuth

Bryan Bailey (185 cm, Bucknall’02) will be leaving Virtus Roma in Italy’s Serie A and heading back to BBC Bayreuth (Germany, BBL Bundesliga) for the 2013/2014 season. Bailey penned with Roma at the beginning of May and featured 11 times for the team with averages of 4.5ppg, 2.7rpg, and 2.7apg. In fact, Bailey’s season with Roma is not over as he is still competing with the club in the Serie A Play-Off semi-finals.

However, the American has announced that he will return to BBC Bayreuth after signing a contract extension with the club for next season. Bryan Bailey played the whole German BBL regular season with Bayreuth before departing for the Italian Play-Offs with Roma. In 33 games for BBC Bayreuth this season the shooting guard averaged 12.2ppg and 2.7apg as the team finished 15th in the BBL standings.
