Brice Johnson (206, F/C) has signed with Budivelnyk Kiev from the Ukraine. Johnson started last season in the Italian Serie A 2, where he played for Capo D’Orlando and averaged 17.4 ppg and was second-best in the league in rebounds with 11.2 per game. In January, he moved to France and the Pro A team of Roanne, where he averaged 13.3 ppg and 5.4 rpg. Previously, Brice Johnson played in Puerto Rico, the G League, and a few games in the NBA (Memphis Grizzlies and Los Angeles Clippers). Actually, the Clippers drafted him in the first round (25) when he graduated from North Carolina with impressive numbers (16.4 ppg and 10.3 rpg). Johnson was an All-ACC first-team selection in his senior year and had also been a High School Parade All American before committing to the Tarheels.
