Brian Laing returns to Elitzur Yavne

Brian Laing (195 cm, Seton Hall’08) returns to Elitzur Yavne from Israel’s National League (2nd division). He played there in the 2011-12 season as well. He transferred to Maccabi Beer Yaakov (same league) where he started the 2012-13 season. In 13 games for Maccabi Beer Yaakov Laing averaged 20.5 ppg and 5.2 rpg.

He was productive in his stint for Elitzur Yavne in 2011 with averages of 21.1 ppg and 6.2 rpg through 25 games. The 27-year-old was with the team as it reached the National League’s Semifinals that season.

Before playing in Israel, Brian Laing played in Holland (Matrixx Magixx Wijchen), Uruguay (Malvin), NBA D-League (Reno Bighorns), and France STB Le Havre.
