Brian Egwuatu joins Aguilas de Tunja

Brian Egwuatu (199 cm, USC-Aiken’09) has been signed by the Aguilas de Tunja from Colombia’s DPB. The 27-year-old Nigerian is set to replace injured Tyrone Rayson. He is expected to bring athleticism to the team’s small forward position.

He has been a free agent since December 2012 after leaving Club Stadio Italiano de Santiago from Chile’s Liga Nacional. He played 10 games for them and averaged 17.6 ppg and 10.4 rpg.

In the 2010-11 season he played for Turi Svitavy from the Czech Republic’s NBL and averaged 4.9 ppg and 3.0 rpg in 10 games.
