Brian Cook to play in Puerto Rico

Former NBA journeyman Brian Cook (208 cm, Illinois’03) is now taking his talents to Puerto Rico and playing for the Pirates de Quebradillas (BSN). He was released in October 2012 by the Washington Wizards. He played 15 games for them in the 2011-12 season and averaged 3.3 ppg and 2.7 rpg. The first part of that season was spent with the Los Angeles Clippers where he played 16 games and averaged 1.9 ppg and 1.4 rpg.

He has had a long career in the NBA; playing for Houston Rockets, Orlando Magic, and most lengthily for the Los Angeles Lakers from 2003 to 2007.
