Brandon Richardson inks contract with Reykjavik

Reykjavik (Icelandic Express L league) has announced that American guard Brandon Richardson (182 cm, Nebraska’12) has inked a deal to join the franchise from college team Nebraska. 25-year-old Richardson has just graduated from Nebraska, so the move to Reykjavik will mark his first professional contract. Brandon Richardson had been with Nebraska for four seasons, playing 119 times, while for the last two seasons he had been in the starting five. During his 30 games in the starting five last season he posted 7.0ppg, 3.1rpg, 3.3apg and 1.8spg, while the season before he recorded 6.4ppg, 2.1rpg, 1.8apg, and 1.0spg from 31 games. Brandon Richardson will join a KR Reykavik team sitting in 5th place in the Express League.
