It looks like David Blatt will no longer coach the Russian national team. The rumors have been flying around London since the start of the Olympics and the wait is now for Blatt to officially confirm what everybody already knows. Blatt is currently the head coach of Maccabi Tel Aviv and has also been coaching the Russian National Team with which he won bronze at the 2012 London Olympics and at the 2011 Eurobasket.
We’ll for sure see him soon with the top team or NT.

David Blatt did a tremendous job for Russian basketball in general by putting them back on the map, no doubt! I am curious to find out whom will be taken over from him. Gr. Guy
