Bernard King (196 cm, Texas A&M’03) filed a claim against former team, Krasny Oktyabr Volgograd (Russia-VTB) at the Basketball Arbitral Tribunal (BAT). The veteran American player submitted that the team did not make any payments and unlawfully terminated his contract. In its position, the club submitted that King’s claim was time-barred pursuant to Russian labor law.
