Benjamin Ortner (206 cm, Metro State’05) has switched teams this 2017 and has landed with Scandone Avellino (Italy-Serie A). The Austrian forward originally signed with EA7 Emporio Armani Milano (Italy-Serie A) for the start of the season but will continue 2017-18 suiting up for Avellino. He played the last three seasons for Umana Reyer Venezia (Italy-Serie A) and is now practically a veteran of Italian hoops.
