Ben McCauley inks with CAI Zaragoza

Ben McCauley (206 cm, North Carolina State’09) has been added by Spanish Liga Endesa team CAI Zaragoza for the 2013-14 season. McCauley began the season playing for the Ukrainian team BC Donetsk. He is just one of the many foreign players who have left Ukrainian teams in the light of the recent political tensions between Ukraine and Russia. Before this move Ben was able to play 17 games in the Ukrainian Superleague and he averaged 12.6 ppg and 5.5 rpg. Aside from that, the forward was also able to represent BC Donetsk in 15 games in the VTB United League, before the team pulled out of the international league. He was able to deliver averages of 16.0 ppg and 5.8 rpg in those games.
