B.J. Young (190 cm, Arkansas’13) is headed to Europe to play for Basketball Club Batumi (Georgia-Superleague) this 2014-15 season. Young played out his rookie season as a pro in the NBA Development League. He was initially with the Houston Rockets, but in November 2013 headed to the D-League and signed with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. He didn’t get a lot of burn on the court, but still averaged 5.7 ppg and 1.0 rpg in 21 games. In March 2014 he transferred to Delaware 87ers (D-League) and there he was to post 14.3 ppg and 3.0 rpg in eight games.
