Avery Smith back with The Island Storm

Avery Smith (193 cm, University of Wisconsin’09) is set to continue his professional career this 2014-15 season with The Island Storm (Canada-NBL). Smith is coming off a 10-game stint with the Bucaros Freskaleche (Colombia-Liga DirecTV), during which the 28-year-old guard posted averages of 15.0 ppg and 5.6 rpg. It was a good run, filling the gap in his career, missing the 2013-14 season.

Avery is heading to familiar territory, playing for the Storm. In 2012-13 he played for them, then the Summerside Storm, and he was able to average 9.4 ppg and 3.6 apg.
