Toowoomba Mountaineers 77 def. Northside Wizards 64

The Mountaineers pulled out the surprise win of the round, with their 13 defeat of the Wizards. Toowoomba led at every break, holding a 14-point buffer at halftime, and maintained the advantage for the remainder of the match. Kisha Lee and Krystal Watson led the scorers for the Mountaineers with 25 and 24 points respectively, while Taylor Lilley was again strong for Northside with 23.

Rockhampton Cyclones 99 def. South West Metro Pirates 62

The Cyclones dominated this match, securing a 29-point lead at halftime and enjoying a 48-point margin at one point during the fourth quarter. Nicole Romeo shot 27 points for Rockhampton, team-mate Shanavia Dowdell contributing 26. Jess Wallis put up 22 points for the Pirates.

Bundaberg Bears 73 def. Ipswich Force 55

Bundaberg got out to a 10-point lead in the first quarter, before the Force brought it back to trail by three. The second and third quarters saw the Bears continually pull the lead away from the visitors, but Ipswich always answered back and knocked back the deficit to within reach. The fourth quarter was Bundabergs, with the Bears capitalising on a number of fouls to secure the 18 point win. Yvonne Turner shot 21 points for Bundy, while Emma Langford put up 20 for Ipswich.

Mackay Meteorettes 105 def. South West Metro Pirates 47

The Meteorettes controlled the game early-on, leading by 20 points at the halftime break. The Pirates were unable to stem the intensity of Mackay’s shooting ability, with Rachel Allison and Jacqui Zelenka both hitting 20 points, while Grace Willey shot 12 for the Pirates.

Gladstone Power 89 def. Ipswich Force 82

Scores were close in the first quarter with both teams having a share in the lead, before the Power ended the first 10 minutes four points in front. Gladstone built on their lead throughout the match, sitting 21 points in front with just three and a half minutes remaining in the match. Ipswich pulled out all the stops in the final minutes to close the gap to just seven points, but fell short of taking the match. The games top scorers were both from Ipswich, with Nadeen Payne hitting 33 and Emma Langford shooting 31. Rebecca Haynes put up 25 points for Gladstone.

Gold Coast Rollers 85 def. Maroochydore Clippers 42

The Rollers had the upper hand early in the game, gaining the lead from the get-go and setting up a 23-point lead at halftime, and running with the advantage until the final whistle. Biancia Abbott hit a game-high 17 points for Gold Coast while Courtney Browne shot 10 points for the Clippers.
