Austin Freeman signs with Maccabi Ashdod

Austin Freeman (190 cm, Georgetown’11) has had his contract with Hapoel Eilat (Israel-Winner League) bought out by Maccabi Ashdod (Israel-Winner League). While with Hapoel he played in 11 games and was averaging 12.6 points per game. In 2011-12 he played for MarcoPoloShop.it Forli (Italy-Lega2) and was fourth in the league in scoring over 22 games, averaging 20.9 points per game. Freeman played four years at Georgetown, leaving with a 17.6 points per game average his senior year.
