Austin Daye tabbed by Pesaro

Austin Daye (211 cm, Gonzaga’09) has penned a deal to play for Consultinvest VL Pesaro in the Italian top flight Serie A this season. The seasoned NBA player will be hitting the hardwood for a non-USA team for just the second time in his pro career. The American forward played for Khimki Moscow Region (Russia, VTB United League) during the 2011/2012 season and over five games he logged 4.8 points and 1.8 rebounds.

Earlier in the season Austin Daye was on the books of the Cleveland Cavaliers but left the franchise before the campaign tipped off.

Austin Daye is experienced in the NBA and has had multi-million contracts and played extensively for the San Antonio Spurs, Toronto Raptors, and the Detroit Pistons.
